Donation Website for an NGO helping women facing domestic violence
Designed by
Yesha Shah

Project Goal
To design a social-cause brand “Sapne” and its responsive website which people can use to donate to the women in need.
My Responsibility
Brand Design, Logo Design, Concept Design, User Interface Design, Wireframes, UX Research and Usability Testing

We focused on
personas who would
potentially be using
our website
Starting with User Personas,
we made user stories and
journey map to empathise
with the doners

Problem Statements & Hypothesis
We started with a strong problem statement for each of our primary personas.
Then based on those problems, we made hypothesis for solutions that may solve those problems
Usability Testing Plan
To test the low-fidelity prototype with real users we planned a usability testing session

Affinity Mapping to categorise observations
We divided the observations from usability testing sessions among these categories

Pattern & Insight Recognition in Research Observations
We divided the observations from usability testing sessions among these categories
Here are the insights we found in usability testing:
-
Users need more information about 80D tax exemption certificate.
-
The payment option is on point.
-
We need to explain the whole process of donation on the website.
-
A lot of people feel empathy for this cause.

Feature Prioritisation Sheet
We prioritised the potential insights from the research based on 2 customer-centric and 2 business-centric metrics

Responsive Website designed for Sapne allows you to set up recurring and one-time donations

TopUXDesigners Redesigned
Redesign of a design community-website of 130,000 UX Designers from all around the world that I manage

The pandemic of violence against
women remain effectively ‘ignored’
and condoned’ by the policymakers.
It is the ‘shadow pandemic’ as
Mr. Antonio Guterres, the
Secretary-General of the United
Nations has called it.

Problem we intend to solve:
25% of women face domestic
violence in India
According to National Family Health Survey-5
Low Fidelity Wireframes
I laid down my basic ideas about the possible structure and information architecture of the website.
